Challenging but definitely worth it! The first day the walk was beautiful, along the old Inca canal, then we went up to a glacial lake in the afternoon.
The first night was absolutely freezing, but there were pretty good tents and sleeping bags. The second day was the longest and hardest, but the views of the Salkantay mountain were absolutely incredible. We were also really lucky with the weather the whole time.
The food was pretty good, too, and the chef even made a cake on the last day! Our guide, Victor, was also fantastic, always motivating us and telling us interesting facts about the different places we went.
