Salkantay trek

We decided to do the Salkantay trek when we were unable to get tickets to trek the Inca Trail . This trek was a great alternative. The scenery along the way is beautiful. You trek between snow capped mountains and then through lush rainforest. It was a great way to see some of the natural beauty of Peru.

Our two guides were great. They were very friendly and willing to help in any way to make the trek more enjoyable. The food was also good and they made a very good effort to assist with dietary requirements. We would certainly recommend Salkantay.org !
