The trek, and especially the guide Juan Carlos, was great!. Even though I am not the fittest person, I was able to do this trek. It is definitely not easy, and there are some challenging uphills, especially on the first day so you definitely felt like you had really achieved something! .
The food that was prepared was excellent: filling, tasty and they made accomodations for all the dietary requirements within the group. Beyond the hiking, hot springs and ziplining were amazing, and broke up the walking really well.
Though I struggled with altitude sickness, the guide Juan Carlos was extremely helpful and kind, and it was over before I knew it. I would advise bringing some altitude sickness tablets just in case, as you reach heights of 4600m! .
