Salkantay trek rules

Once I arrived in Cusco I knew we would have an amazing time. It was beautiful. the drive to the beginning of the trek was long, and I was ready to begin hiking! Hiking was difficult but lots of fun. Walking to Humantay and seeing it get bigger and bigger was amazing.

Americo, our guide, was very knowledgeable about many things along the trail, including plants, animals, history, and nature. He was very helpful with all questions we had. I enjoyed being part of an awesome group. Can't wait to see Machu Picchu tomorrow. I feel like this is an experience I will never forget.
