Salkantay trekking adventure

The Salkantay trek was a very well organised trek. We were disappointed that we were unable to get tickets to do the Inca Trail but this was a good alternative.

There was great scenery along the way with a mixture of snow capped mountains and rainforest. We were lucky with perfect weather. Our guide (Richard) was very friendly and knowledgeable.

The food was also very good and comparable to other treks I have been on around the world. Machu Picchu was amazing and a very good way to finish a fun five days.

We would recommend the trek to everyone !
