Chat on WhatsAppI am genuinely impressed with the knowledge of Pool and Marco - they always had interesting things to say about a specific mountain or river system or plant along the trail.
I also definitely appreciated that they both cared so much about each member of the group, making sure everyone was enjoying themselves and encouraging anyone getting a little down on the trek. The trek was one of the greatest experiences of my life and I am very thankful to the guides, cooks, and wranglers.
However, I do feel the company of Inca Trail Reservations could be better organized beforehand - our group was extremely misinformed during the briefing, booking was unnecessarily complicated for people traveling as a couple, and our group of travelers was disenchanted with the city tours through a third party.
