From the beginning of our trek, we were given any and all information needed regarding necessary Ãtems and the general logistics of the trip. Needless to say, after our debriefing session the night before the trip, I was fully aware of what I was getting into.
The trip itself was tough. Being from California, I am not used to hiking at such a high altitude. But with encouragement from the guides as well as an awesome group of people on the trek, I was able to get through it.
My 4 day trek on the Inca Trail was easily one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
