We enjoyed ourselves on this adventure. It was challenging but rewarding. I began with the feeling that my age would work against at me. I decides that my approach would be "step by step" and, with the support of my husband, family, new friends and Marcos, our guide, I did it!

I am a scientist, geological engineer, and now a middle school science teacher. So I was always thinking of my students and sharing this adventure with them at school in the future. Such dramatic beauty and stunning geology and beautiful flora and fauna.
