I had a great experience doing the Salkantay trek with this Salkantay company. We were with a big group and even though is was hard work for the crew, they really made an effort to make us comfortable.

The scenery is spectacular, the altitude didn't bother me because I was already acclimatized so I could really enjoy all the beauty around me. Salkantay pass at 4600m. above sea level was a highlight, and the inland trek to Llactapata was another one; tough but really worth it. We even could get a peak at Machu Picchu that day! Awesome!.

Our guide Carlos was the most enthusiastic and passionate guide I ever met. So much knowledge about the environment! The camping and cooking were excellent!.
