Soaked, cold, but happy!

Definitely an experience. I would recommend to anyone interested in a tough but rewarding adventure through the Peruvian Andes.

The tour was extremely well organized and the knowledge of the tour guides was evident from the start, having interspersed bouts of hiking with researched knowledge of the Inca civilisation. One warning is that I was woefully unprepared for the amount of rain experienced over the 4 days, having soaked clothes and bags by the end of the 2nd day. Having a plastic poncho, a bag cover and suitable clothing is strongly recommended!.

Despite the rain, it was a great experience with diverse and interesting people and a skilled team leading the trek.
