Do not get me wrong the trek is hard even for someone in great Shape. But the views aré so worth it, Machu Pichu was not the highlight for me, it was the quiet secluded inca runes where only the hard working hikers could enjoy, without the massive amount of tourists ruining the quiet blissful moments. What really made this adventure exceed my expectations was how hard the trail guide and the porters worked to spoil us. The meals were restaurante level, and i can not believe how the porters carried food like that on top of all the equipment.
I could not have asked for a better experience. And the friendo you will meet and hike with aré an added bonus!.
