Speedy Gonzo

I have been planning this trip for 4 months and it turned out better than I thought. Having been living in Ecuador for over a year I was prepared for the altitude, which made hiking the Inca Trail that much sweeter.

When hiking I always take my limits to the max and this Trail challenged me to a new level. Throughout the Trail my goal was to be in the lead and in the end I was the first person in the entire Trail this week to make it to Machu Picchu. At first is was foggy when I arrived but shortly after I could see all of Machu Picchu.

It was better than the pictures and much more worth it after hiking for 4 days. This trip will be one I will never forget.
