Overall the experience was once in a lifetime and absolutely rewarding. It was the most challenging and surreal thing I've ever done. You definitely should be prepared to sweat and work your buns off on this trek. Thanks to Marco, we were always as comfortable as possible and well taken care of. He was sensitive to our needs and struggles and was always there to help us on this amazing journey.
The food was so good ! I was not expecting such great taste and variety. The Happy Hour every night was a fun way to socialize and get to know our fellow trekkers. They supplied snacks during the day and fresh water. All our necessities were met. The porters were always there to help us with packing and carrying extra load when we were tired. The support from all the staff was outstanding.
I would definitely recommend this trek to anyone wanting to experience Machu Picchu in a unique and absolutely rewarding way !
