Chat on WhatsAppI had never camped prior to this trip, nor have I hiked for more than half a day. So when I booked this trip, I had no idea what I signed up for. But the guide and the staff team made almost everything easier.
The guide is professional, knowledgable and enthusiastic about the Inca heritage, and has a great sense of humor!. He also had great patience helping me with my Spanish which I am learning. The cook is definitely a genius; I still don't know how he managed to have baked a cake with the simplest cookware that the porters carried into the mountains.
And the porters are simply amazing; they left the camping site after we did, flew passing us, set up things in the next camping site and welcomed us with tea and juice. This was a very memorable trip.
