So different, exhausting and rewarding all at the same time. The trek starts with two very testing days, but the views of glacier lakes, mountain sunsets and other challenged Trekkers keep you moving.
After numbing temperatures in the first two days, the pace slows and the temperature increases. The food, prepared by a wonderful Chef Beltran with very limited mobile resources, was spectacular!.
However, be advised that costs that are not included in the trek are water (about 10 soles/day), tips, souvenirs/snacks, Friday bus ticket (optional, 12 dollars) and food for Friday lunch and dinner.
It is Worth it though!.
