Take a hike with the best amigos in the Andes. The guides and their staff were enthusiastic, friendly and always on schedule. They know the terrain in the area very well and can answer many questions about landscape, areas of historical / cultural significance, and fauna / flora.
Areas where the team could improve include accommodations and meals. In some cases, these are areas that might not be in the control of the team, but the meals could be more nutritious (more fresh eggs, vegetables and fruits) and less breads and starch (for example we had bread and cake one morning for breakfast). Also, some of the accommodations need better maintenance (toilets with seats and paper, and sinks with soap). These seem like inexpensive and easy improvements that will go a long way to improve the experience of trekkers.
All in all a great, fun experience with a lot of memories.
