take cocoa leaves before trying

Great time and excellent adventure. I did not expect to learn as much as I did on the tour but the tour guide knew inca culture and history as well as the different plants and animals along the route and we stopped to learn about them.

The porters were amazing at carry the tents and food from site to site. The cook made amazing meals that were better than home cooked which I did not expect on a trail in the middle of no where.

The trek was hard but the views were worth it. Don't forget to hire a porter but can get them on the second and third day if i don't sign up from the get go. good luck.
