Chat on WhatsAppWhen my friends first suggested me to do the Inca trail I could never imagine what I was getting into! But now, I can say that this was for sure a life changing experience. Adventure, teamwork, breathtaking landscapes and archeological sites, and new friends are the main ingredients of this trip, so...how couldn't one just love it? With every step I took, there was always some archeological site, some flower, some tree, some hill or cliff to admire! It was amazing to learn all the things about one great civilization that once existed and of whom I knew very little about.
And I should point that our guides (Gerson and Guido) were absolutely amazing, with a great English, so easy to understand! They were very secure in every explanation, always with a quick answer to our questions along the path. Also I should thank the porters (they are supermen!) and the cook, actually I was a bit concerned with the food, but then Modesto (the cook) made gastronomic miracles!
And when we were tired, finishing this hike in machu pichu we were able to forget all the pain and tiredness with such a rewarding end!
