Chat on WhatsAppIt is one of the best trekking I ever have. The guide, Eber and Macro both are very helpful and friendly, they are knowledgable about the history and nature of the trail. The food is excellent, sometimes even better than restaurants in Cusco.
The porters are very friendly and obviously they did many of hard work. The campsite facilities are decent. It's mostly bugs free, there are running water and sometime showers available. The toilets left something to be desired, but so are most toilet in peru. The crew has made sure we got as comfy as they could.
The trekking is somewhat physical demanding, but it's mostly mental. The trail is scenic. Meeting people from different backgrounds and working together to reach the goal is very fun. Entering Machu Picchu through the Sun Gate is one of the most rewarding experience.
Overall, it's a can't miss trip and I recommended Inca Trail Reservations .
