The salkantay hike was challenging

The Salkantay Trek was beautiful,challenging, and fun. There is nothing like hiking with in the andes mountains.

Our tour guide Carlos was both entertaining and informative as he explained the history of the Incan culture and the wildlife around us. Once we began, all of our travel accomodations and meals were taken care of. The staff is friendly and knowledgable about the trek and surrounding areas. I would recommend spending some time at high altitude before begining your trek in order to let your body get accustomed to the altitude.

I would recommend this trek to any who are interested in hiking in beautiful landscapes and Incan cutlure.
