Tougher than I could ever imagimed

The trek was one of the most difficult and challenging experiences of my life .I was very thankful for the kind and considerate assistance of the guides.

The porters and chef work unbelievably hard to ensure we had a great experience. Even tough we booked with another agency all things went smoothly including changes to our train booking etc. I was disappointed with the bathroom facilities. They were located far and down hill from our tents and were too disgusting to use. A hole in the floor is very unappealing . Not so concerned with cold water but a toilet seems like a basic amenity.

I am proud of my accomplishment but some significant details about what we would encounter were not made clear like the real difficulty of the trail.
