Had heard a lot about the second day of the Inca Trail, all of which was true. A grueling test of the untrained body. But two things that kept us going: the wonderfully helpful guides that were with us each day, and the breathtaking views of the valleys and mountains.
All pain was soon forgotten on the fourth day however; seeing Machu Picchu with your own eyes is staggering. Overall Inca Trail Reservations provided an outstanding service, and a massive shout out to Chachi and Robert for taking care of us each and every step of the way, and making it very enjoyable.
