The Salkantay trek was a great experience. The group we had were lovely people. It was a very challenging hike.

I enjoyed the amazing landscape along the way. It was interesting to see how the landscape changed from snowy mountains at the beginning to jungle towards the end. It was very cold on the first night which I found hard but then it warmed up during the day. The food provided was very good and plentiful. The tour guides were very helpful and experienced. The accommodation provided at the end was welcoming and comfortable.

Overall, I am happy to have conquered the Salkantay trek, it was an achievement 😀
