Victor and the Amigosh

We arrived at Cusco two days before the start of the trek. We went to the office for a briefing about the Salkantay trek. Victor explained everything in great detail.

The first day of the trek we got picked up at our hotel very early, we drove to the start of our hike.The first two day we hiked up to the top (4600 meters high). This was accompanied with astonishing views! The days after that were mostly downhill. We went from Andean highland to Peruvian (pre-) jumgle.

So the trek was very varied. At the last day we went to Machu Pichu. This was really magical! Everything considered, i would do it again!!!.
