Chat on WhatsAppI started this trip not being too sure of what to expect. I can say honestly that I was quite unprepared, and not even sure of my own itinerary. However upon arriving in Cusco, Inca Trail Reservations were very well organised, informative and helpful. As soon as we arrived in their office, they informed us of our itinerary for the 4 day trek, as well as how we should prepare for the trip, and provided us with all our needed equipment.
On the actual trek, our tour guide was very knowledgeable, providing us with informative facts about the Inca Trail and interesting demonstrations with the fauna in the region. Along with the guide assistant and the porters, everyone was extremely helpful, and were constantly ensuring we were enjoying ourselves and that we were feeling well.
I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who is prepared to step outside of their comfort zone and is prepared for both the physical and mental challenge of hiking in the Inca Trail.
