Welcome to the Jungle (Trek)

I didn't know what to expect when I signed up for this trek, which turned out to be a good thing; if I'd had any expectations, I'm certain this trip would have blown them away.

Every moment of this journey was fantastic; from the 5am wake-up calls to the incredible food that we shared before crashing at the late hour of 8pm. Paul, Santiago, and the rest of the crew treated us like family. My fellow group members and I bonded over stories and helped each other when the trek got particularly difficult. And at times it WAS difficult. I pushed myself for hours to the tops of mountains and deep into jungles. I saw things I never thought I would see.

I was sore and exhausted at the end but I would do it again in a heartbeat.
