This hike was challenging and left me with soar calves but the best sights I've ever seen! The Andes mountains are indescribable and the trek was so worth it! The accommodations were rustic, but exactly what fit into the mountain scenery. We started in the mountains and passed thru the jungle to end at Machu Picchu with the best guide imaginable. Raúl was so respectful of our silly questions and always kept us posted on our trek.
One of the best parts of this trip was the FOOD! Wow. Best food I've had in Peru and cooked fresh every night by local farmers who traveled with us. I highly recommend this company and trail.
