Worth the struggle

I had a great experience on the Salkantay trek. Even I was by far the oldest in the group (47) it was a fun experience.

I very much appreciated the small group and the single tent accommodation. Our guide Marco was always helpful, very informative and did all he could to accommodate our needs. He clearly likes to share his knowledge and we learned a lot about Perú and the Inca culture. We also had two very helpful and friendly helpers on the trek, a horse guide and a cook.

Both were part of the " family" and I am amazed about the quality of the food, which under the circumstances was really good and never boring. Thank you for the great experience.
