Chat on WhatsAppThis was a wonderful journey. I had been wanting to travel to Peru and visit Machu Picchu since I was 11 years old. Our guide Victor was amazing! He was always there to answer questions and provide the comic relief. He had a very energetic, yet easy way about him. He shared with us his knowledge of Peru, both past and present and kept us motivated while were climbing in the cold mornings and the long afternoons. The rest of the staff were also great.
This trek, made getting to Machu Picchu well worth it. The first few days were long and cold, but allowed for time to think and meditate about why I was making the trip in the first place. I would recommend this trek to anyone wanting a good adventure, with a little bit of help along the way. The group was also wonderful and we all got along very well. So go out there and spend five days getting to this wonderful place, it will be well worth it!
