When I agreed to this six months ago, I had no idea what i was getting into! Desperate for an adventure, I jumped at the chance to hike to Machu Picchu.
The Inca Trail was one of the most difficult things I've ever done, and probably one of the dumbest too! An old knee injury haunted me through the constant, steep ups and downs of the trek. Our guides Paul and Marco were more than helpful and kept me moving and safe. The pain, cold, and less than ideal toilet situation were more than worth it though.
The beautiful scenery, wonderful people, and sense of accomplishment made this experience one I will never forget or regret. Thank you Inca Trails Reservations !.
