Mystical Journey

Ever since I read about Machu Picchu as a kid, I wanted to experience the city for myself. I heard that the Inca trail was a mystical pilgrimage and the best way to experience the city. Inca Trail Reservations provided wonderful guides and porters that truly made the experience magical.

Don't misunderstand, the trail is difficult and the toilets are not ideal, but the food was amazing, the guides knowledgable and the ruins were full of mystery. With every step I felt like an Inca king making my way to a mystical city in the cloud forest.

I would highly recommend this trek. The experience really makes entering the sun gate of Machu Picchu an unforgettable experience.
