Alpaca steak is a little tough

May is supposed to be one of the driest months in Peru, we had nearly a week of rain. You would think it would put a damper on the situation (rimshot), but quite the contrary.

We had an incredible group of inca trail guides, horsemen, and cooks who made the journey something to remember for the rest of my life. Juan Carlos and his team led our group, pushed us forward when we didn't think we could make it, kept everything fun along the way.

Hiking the Salkantay trail was one of the most challenging, rewarding, and amazing experiences of my life and I can't imagine it without Inca Trail Reservations .
