This trek was amazing. My guides, Victor and Hilton, were very nice and took care of me even when I got altitude sickness on the second day. This trek is much better than the Inca Trail because you need to have an adventurous mindset to make it.
The second day that takes you to the summit is hard but is so worth it. The five days you spend with your group make you great friendships and you all work together as a team to reach Machu Picchu. (The food is surprisingly good for a camping situation also. Besides that, it is great to not have to set up your own camp and boil your own water, etc...)
