I was basically coerced into this trek by an adventurous friend of mine. I was not quite sure if I would be able to handle the physical challenges of the trip after reading some reviews. Well, I\’m here to tell you that I made it – thanks to my guide Juan Carlos and encouraging members of the group who helped me along the way. I did the trek in August during the dry season, but, strangely enough, it snowed on our second day of the trip. It was a difficult hike but well worth the feeling of accomplishment you will have when you complete it. I cannot recommend Inca Trail Reservations highly enough.
