Chat on WhatsAppAttending the Salkantay tour was an unique and unforgettable experience. Seeing the old Inca village Machu Picchu has been a dream of mine since I can remember.
In a group of seven people guided by guide Carlos we spent 5 days hiking to this wonderful place. During the nights we slept in tents in nice camps - especially the second camp was a very lovely place (even with a hot shower).
A highlight was the team of two cooks who prepared a lot of very delicious meals for us. And of course the landscape: From the snowy rocks of Salkantay mountain till a huge amount of different flowers and trees in the jungle we've seen everything.
Arriving at Machu Picchu village was then the wonderful and well deserved finale of the tour! I can only recommend it.
