This trek was incredible. Of course, the brilliance of the Andes mountains is nothing to scoff at, but the folks of this company made it all the better.
Our guide Raùl was friendly, very well knowledged, and was just too funny, and with our somewhat small group (7 hikers, him included) we were vibing like a family by the end of the first day, cracking jokes and telling stories.
All of the porters were too kind, despite the language barrier(they mostly spoke Qechua), and even on the first day, when I was having a bout with sickness(from altitude and possibly some bad meat from a Cusco restaurant, avoid heavy meals before your trek!), they still went out of their way to prepare easy meals and muña tea for me until I felt better the next morning.
The Inka Trail is a brilliant spectacle, and this company really makes the trek something memorable.
