The company was very accommodating and arranged a hotel in Aguas Calientes and re-entrance into Machu Picchu, and changed our ticket for the hike up HP. The Inca Trail trek itself was fantastic! Our group was small (we booked in the rainy season), but our guide Raul was wonderful. I am a very slowwww hiker, and he was always encouraging and patient with me.
Our porters were great, always smiling and helpful. Our chef Modesto prepared very tasty and nutritious meals that were always beautifully presented, and reflected local meals.
It was truly a wonderful experience of a lifetime, and the entrance into Machu Picchu through the sungate was breathtaking!.
