Eloychambo

This has been a great experience. I have never experienced anything like this adventure. It challenged me physically and mentally however I overcame it. I am really proud of the group and myself for taking on this challenge. While our peers were on some beach during spring break we were hiking treacherous paths. We completed a four day hike on three days. I learned a lot about myself while enjoying some spectacular and breathtaking views. I feel that I have become more in touch with myself and nature. Although I had a great experience I feel that more can be done. There was a lack of communication at the beginning of the trip, extra fees for more weight and porters, and route conditions. Also the porters and guides are amazing but unfortunately they work/live in poor conditions and receive little wages especially for everything that they do for us.
