Glamping at its finest ! Buckets of water to wash your hands before every meal; amazing three-course meals for lunch and breakfast; "tea-service" delivered to your tent every morning; meals under the protection of a tent (especially nice when raining); friendly porters to carry tents and food and set up and tear down camp every day (including lunch stops); cake for dessert the last night; and on and on !
Carlos was an excellent guide - very engaging and knowledgeable about the Inca Trail , Machu Picchu and the ruins along the way. He was well prepared for the trek and went out of his way to make sure the group felt like a "family" and ensured everyone's safety. Epic adventure overall !
