All four days of the trek provided their own dificulties, none more so than day three when I suffered terrible altitude sickness. Everyone however was terrific and looked after me wonderfully. I'm told the porters were seen ducking into the bushes to find native flowers to brew me special witch doctor tea and Ronny was caring and pretty much dragged me the 16km to camp. Despiste the difficulties the entire trek was incredibly rewarding and an experience that I will never forget.
The sight from the Sun Gate on day four looking over Machu Pichu in the morning light provided a great sense of accomplishment! Highly recomended to all!.
