Today we finished one of our best holiday adventures ever. We have completed the 4 day / 3 night Salkantay trek with a visit of Machu Picchu. The whole trip was an amazing and intense experience with a great group of 7 + Carlos (our great tour guide) + 2 cooks + one horseman from the mole para village.
The trip was overall well organized with amazing culinary creations with multiple courses prepared in a portable kitchen. The Salkantay trek is also less frequented than the Inca Trail and thus we really had a lot of privacy on during our trip. A great thanks goes also to our guide Carlos, who was a great source of information and tried to accommodate our needs.
