This was an absolutely amazing experience despite my being utterly unprepared. The Inca Trail is breathtaking in a completely different way every day of the trek, and I don\’t mean because there is so little oxygen. I can\’t think of another trail which could combine such beautiful topography, diverse fauna, and so much of a culture\’s history at once. The Inca sites along the trail were well worth it alone. Our guide was great! He was informative, hilarious, and had a great positive attitude which kept everyone going through the end. This was a challenge, but it\’s absolutely worth doing and we were very pleased overall with Inca Trail Reservations .
