I had met a lot of people who also recommended the Salkantay trek as well, however after going on the original Inca Trail , I was so happy with our decision. By the end of the trek, I felt so connected with the Inca story and made the finale – Machu Picchu arrival all the more special. I would like to thank Paul (our guide) for his passion, enthusiasm and humor in making our trip a very memorable experience. Thank you also to Marco (2nd guide) and most of all the super-porters who are amazing beyond words ! Lots of respect to them.
