Chat on WhatsAppMy tour experience surpassed all of my expectations by far! I can honestly say that this was and will be 4 of the best, most memorable, challenging and rewarding days of my life. I would and am going to recommend this trek to all of my friends and family, and people I meet who love to travel and see amazing things. The breathtaking views, tough yet manageable Inca Trail, the great food, awesome people all culminating at the end with Machu Picchu all added up to probably the greatest trip experience anyone could ever ask for.
As I said before, it was a challenge. However, we had people of all ages from all over the world in our tour group, and we all helped eachother to ensure we all made it together and safely. There are no words to describe the feeling you get when arriving at Machu Picchu after all of that hard work getting there and making good friends along the way and getting there together. I suggest packing as light as possible! And be prepared for rain at any time with lots of rain gear. It sometimes can be sunny, and then raining 2 minutes later. And finally, just bring your enthusiasm, passion and drive to complete an amazing journey and you wont regret it!!!
I suggest travelling with Inca Trail Reservations because they could not have made my experience a better one! The food was delicious and different every meal, it came hot and ready on time every day. The porters are the hardest working group of people I have ever seen! They carried all our things (tents, food, equipment etc) and we always ahead of everyone and set up by the time that we made it to our resting sites. And finally, the guides were awesome. They helped motivate everyone, got us there safety and were very knowledgeable about all of the sites and were able to answer every question we had.
