Emilio was very knowledgeable and informative and answered any questions we had and took the time to explain things to us if we did not understand. I really struggled on the second day with the uphill walking but Emilio was very encouraging and always checking we where ok and he also took a lot of time to stay with two other members of the group who where struggling more. I thought this was very kind and was good to have a guide that was so positive and supportive. The trek completely blew me away the views that we saw where unbelievable. The porters that carried are tents etc where very friendly and worked extremely hard also the food was amazing everyday, probably some of the best food ive had in South America the snacks that you are told to bring are not necessary as you are fed so well and also provided with snacks every day. I would recommend hiring a porter as i struggled carrying my belongings and sleeping bag and roll mat.
Overall this was a brilliant experience and i would not hesitate to do it again with the same guide, porters and company as they are very professional and extremely friendly. Our guide also always pushed us to reach sights before other groups to make sure we had the best view and pictures. Make sure you are reasonably fit as it is very hard work but completely worth it.
