Booking the trip was easy, we booked online back in January and our contact, Patricia was wonderful. She provided us with lots of useful information and was always quick and happy to respond to any questions we had. The night before our trek at the information session in Cusco we got more details about what to expect on each day of the trek.
Our guide, Raul was great. He was very friendly, approachable, experienced and knowledgeable. I enjoyed learning about the history of the Incan ruins we visited along the way. The porters were great as well. Everyone was very hard working, professional and easy going. It's amazing how efficient they are at preparing everything for us from the campsites to the meals. The quality and variety of food was fantastic. It's very impressive that they could prepare such great food with such limited supplies. There was something for everyone, even a picky eater like me... I was never hungry on this trip !
Overall my experience with Inca Trail Reservations was great. Everything was very organized from beginning to end. I have no complaints and would recommend the company to anyone wanting to hike the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. Thanks for making this an incredible once in a lifetime experience !
