the scenery was amazing! Salkantay Mountain is incredible! Day one was great getting used to hiking! The night was extremely cold .
Day 2 was very tough in the morning walking to the Salkantay pass! Salkantay lake is amazing, the colour was incredible! The afternoon was tough on our joints constantly walking down hill. The camp was great. Day 3 was much more relaxed walking was easier though the jungle at a lower altitude, hot spring were great to relax the muscles!. Day 4 was great slowing getting a better view of Machu Pichhu! Carlos is classic! Couldn't have had a better guide! Funny guy but also very helpful!.
I would recommend this tour to other travelers. The only negative was that my bag was dragged and ripped when it was collected from the train by one of the assistants with Inca Trail Reservations .
