From day one Gerson explained to us in details of exactly what to expect from the trail itself, altitude, culture and anything else we needed to know. He was very knowledgeable about the trails, people and the ruins and answered all our questions. Jorge and Gerson were so nice staying back and encouraging us that were slow going uphill and who had a hard time with the altitude.
Overall the Inca Trail Reservations had excellent service from the bookings, guides, porters and chefs. The food that was served was more than I expected and it was all incredible. It gave me the nourishment I needed to complete the hike. Thank you all so much for an experience of a lifetime.
