Machu Picchu adventure

Our trip was everything advertised, beautiful scenery, fun trek partners, challenging, culminating in the spectacular Machu Picchu experience! The second day may be advertised as the hardest day of the journey, but the third day is a close second, with 17 km and a lot of steps! Of course it was raining our third day so the day may seemed much longer than it really was.

The food was very good every night of the journey. This may be advertised as a "moderate" hike, but it was very challenging for everyone in our group. Still, I'd recommend this for the experience is second to none, and the sense of accomplishment is great as well.
