The organization was nice both before the Inca Trail and the during it. Fanny helped us to arrange the trip in a very efficient way and the crew in Cuzco and Machu Picchu was kind and witty. The adventure itself might be pretty tough and sometimes daunting, but the guide, the deputy guide and the porters were helpful in every circumstance.

Together we enjoyed an authentic team experience and the guide also contributed to create a positive team spirit among the hikers.

The sites' explanations were exhaustive and the guide was always open for questions and provided full answers.

On the downside, I wish the equipment was slightly better. The conditions of the trek are pretty harsh, so a better equipment (sleeping mats and sleeping bags) might have soften the sleeping on the ground. Then there is the toilets issue, but that is a problem outside the agency control as the service areas are managed by the government.

Overall, I had a very positive experience. It was adventurous but always under control. I learnt a bunch of thing about the Incas and I've enjoyed amazing archaeological sites.
